King of Chu was the title used by several rebellion leaders during the collapse of Qin Dynasty. Using the old name of Chu, these Kings claimed to be the rightful ruler of the old Chu territory (modern provinces of Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui and Jiangsu).The Chu - Chu kingdom emerged after it defeated the Qi, and Qin kindoms. The Chu kingdom won after 10 years of fighting.
The Kingdom of Chu was one of the 18 Kingdoms.

- Chen She, King Yin of Chu, also called King of Rising Chu, (209 BC)
- Jing Ju, King of Chu, (208 BC)
- Xin, King Huai of Chu, later Emperor Yi of Chu (208 BC-206 BC) (became Emperor in 206 BC)
- Xiang Yu, Overlord of Western Chu, (206 BC-202 BC)
