Kirkmichael seen from the north-east

Kirkmichael is a village located in Strathardle, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is midway between the towns of Blairgowrie and Pitlochry.

The village is split into two by the River Ardle. On the north side running, along main street, are the kirk and session house, the village shop and garage, Riverside and Dairy.

On the south side are the Primary School, Bannerfield, Williamston, the village hall and Sillerburn.

The name Kirkmichael means "The church of St.Michael".
