Kiyosu (清須市 Kiyosu-shi) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
On July 7, 2005 Kiyosu was annexed with the towns of Shinkawa and Nishibiwajima to form the new city of Kiyosu.
As of April 1, 2006, the city had a population of 55,592. The total area is 13.31km².
Home to the Kiyosu Castle, rebuilt in 1989.
On October 1, 2009 the neighboring town of Haruhi, from Nishikasugai District merged into Kiyosu. This leaves Nishikasugai District with one municipality.[1]
