Skender Vakuf / Kneževo (Cyrillic: Скендер Вакуф / Кнежево)[1][2][3][4][5], is a town and municipality in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is part of the Republika Srpska entity.

Dobretići was part of the pre-war municipality of Skender Vakuf, but now it is part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Majority of Croats (almost all) of pre-war municipality of Skender Vakuf lived on the area of today's Dobretići municipality.

After war majority of Skender Vakuf municipality became part of Republic of Srpska. Part of municipality which included 4 croatian settlments (almost all of Croatian population in prewar municipality) became part of Federation of Bosnia - Hercegovina is new municipality - Dobretići.

2006

In 2006, the majority of inhabitants of municipality were ethnic Serbs. [2]
