The headquarters of the Police Service of Northern Ireland is located off Knock Road, Belfast close by the site of a closed station on the Belfast and County Down Railway.

Our Lady and St. Patrick's College, Knock Grammar School is also situated in the nearby Cherryvalley / Gilnahirk area.
