Biography

Made up of members of several different indie rock bands, Koester revolves around singer/songwriter Steve Koester; also featuring Alan Weatherhead (Sparklehorse), Miguel Urbiztondo, Tim Buckley, and John Daniels (all three in Maki). Oh! Turpentine, their first album, was met with critical praise and success in the underground music scene.
