Komtesse

Komtesse, used to denote the daughter of a count (Graf) in her childhood, teens, and early marriageable years, though she is actually a Gräfin. Examples of the use of Komtesse in literary titles are Zwei Komtessen (1885) by M. von Ebner-Eschenbach and Komtesse Mizzi (1907) by Schnitzler.
