Korneli

Pseudo-saint of Breton folklore associated with the megalithic monuments at Carnac. According to local legend, Korneli was being pursued by vicious enemies in an ox-cart when he turned and placed a curse upon them, transforming them into rows of huge stones. Elsewhere Korneli has been the protector of horned animals, not just oxen, prompting some commentators to suggest that he is a Christianized remnant of the cult of the Celtic god Cernunnos.
