Kurt Sauer (b. January 16 1981, St. Cloud, Minnesota) is a professional ice hockey Defenceman in the NHL, playing for the Colorado Avalanche.
Sauer has played his last two seasons with Colorado, and has also played for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. He made it to the Stanley Cup Finals with Anaheim in 2003. His father Curt Sauer played for the Minnesota Twins.
