Kurt Sutter is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor. He is best known for his work as a writer and actor on The Shield, portraying enigmatic hitman Margos Dezerian. He married actress Katey Sagal in a private ceremony on October 2, 2004 at their home in Los Feliz, California. They welcomed their first child together, daughter Esme Louise, on January 10, 2007. Esme was carried by a surrogate mother.
Sutter is currently a writer, producer and actor on Sons of Anarchy on FX. (He plays incarcerated club member "Big Otto" Delaney.)
Sutter's future projects as a writer include Inland Saints, a film to be directed by Joel Schumacher for Paramount Pictures. He is also set to make his feature film directing debut with Awaken the Dragon, a noir-style remake of Enter the Dragon.[1]
