Kwango (Cuango in Angola) is a 1100 km long river in Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It originates in the highlands of central Angola and flows generally northwards, then it makes a border between these two countries. Then it flows in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and empties to Kasai River near Bandundu, at 3°14′10″S 17°22′25″E / 3.236177°S 17.373688°E / -3.236177; 17.373688.
