Wikipedia: L'Art d'être grand-père

L'Art d'être grand-père or The Art of Being a Grandfather are a series of poems by Victor Hugo. They deal with the feelings of being a grandfather with innocent young children. The emotions of love and tenderness are celebrated, and, in contrast to the complexities of his other poems that deal with politics and grand themes, these poems are of a simpler nature.
