Geography Dictionary: labyrinth karst

The deep canyons of limestone formed by carbonation. Initially the limestone shows bogaz; these widen and deepen into long gorges known as karst streets with other, cross-cutting, lines of erosion. The remnant of this carbonation is tower karst.
