Lamport is a village and civil parish in the Daventry district of the county of Northamptonshire in England. Nearby are Lamport Hall and the Northampton & Lamport Railway. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 207 people.[1]
The Carnegie Medal-winning children's author Denys Watkins-Pitchford was born in Lamport.[2]
