Plot

Billy Zane stars in this action-adventure story as Michael Sanger, an expert racecar driver with a passion to do something out of the ordinary. Sanger and his crew have designed a special rocket-powered car, and their goal is for Sanger to become the first man to break the sound barrier on dry land. A 50-million-dollar purse is being offered to the first person who can crack Mach 2, so Sanger is not alone in his quest.
