"Lapdance" is a song by the funk/rock/hip hop American group N*E*R*D from their 2001 album In Search Of.... The song features Vita and rapper Lee Harvey, and was produced by The Neptunes.
A remix of "Lapdance" by Trent Reznor appeared on the compilation Spin This. Although it is censored, an uncensored version of the remix is available on a rare promo single disc.
"Lapdance" was included on the Swordfish soundtrack, in the film Daredevil, in the film Kiss of the Dragon and in the film The Girl Next Door (2004 film).
It was also featured in an episode of Entourage, on the pilot episode of Fastlane and on the soundtrack to the 2003 PlayStation 2 game True Crime: Streets of L.A. as well as in the Playstation 2 game BMX XXX.
"Lapdance" was included on the Real Cancun soundtrack.
It's #93 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
In the 2009 video game DJ Hero, "Lapdance" is mixed with two songs: "The Big Beat" by Billy Squier and "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock. The latter was mixed by DJ Grandmaster Flash.
