Lapinlahti (Swedish: Lapinlax) is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Northern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 7,555 (30 June 2009)[2] and covers an area of 711.96 square kilometres (274.89 sq mi) of which 98.14 km2 (37.89 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 12.31 inhabitants per square kilometre (31.9 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
