Larry Stegent (born December 1, 1947) was a National Football League running back for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1971. Although highly touted during his collegiate career at Texas A&M, he proved to be a disappointment in the NFL (owing in part to a knee injury in his first and only preseason game) as he only played in seven games recording just one reception for 12 yards.[1]
Larry now lives with his wife, the former Miss Petunia Holt, in Smyrna, Georgia. He is a dog breeder specializing in exotic breeds. Breeding Shih Tzu's and American Pit Bull Terrier's is his current enterprise.
