Larry A. Tucker is an American politician and was the Democratic member of the West Virginia Senate from Nicholas County from 1989 to 1989. Shortly after being elected Senate President in 1989, he pleaded guily to federal charges that he extorted a bribe from a lobbyist. In 2008, Tucker unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Tom Blankenship for the Democratic nomination for a seat on the Nicholas County Commission.
