A buxom early silent screen actress, Luray Huntley, aka Laura Huntley, played the abused country girl in the groundbreaking white slavery epic Traffic in Souls (1913) and was one of the "uplifters" in D.W. Griffith's The Mother and the Law (1919), an abbreviated version of which had earlier been part of Intolerance (1916).
