Biography

Lawrence is an experimental techno producer with minimalist tech-house leanings who has produced for the Dial (Hamburg) and Kompakt (Cologne) labels. Like a fair amount of his brethren, the division between rhythms and textures is often a blurry one. The producer made an appearance on Kompakt's Total 2 compilation (with the lightly shuffling "Gilbert"), which was issued in 2000. In September of 2001, Lawrence released the Teaser 12" on Kompakt; the title track was included on that year's Total 3 compilation. The Corporate Indentity 12" was also released during 2001 on Dial.
