Biography
Tulane University business major Lawrence Gordon began his show-business career as an assistant to TV producer Aaron Spelling. Gordon's first producing credit was Spelling's popular "millionaire cop" series Burke's Law. After serving in executive capacities at Bob Banner Productions, American-International and Screen Gems, Gordon formed his own production company in 1971. From 1984 to 1986, he was president of 20th Century-Fox. In 1987, he went independent again as head of Largo Productions.
