Marketing Dictionary: leave piece

Printed information used by salespersons that can be left with the prospective customer; also called leave behind. The leave piece is imprinted with the salesperson's name and telephone number as well as information about the merchandise or service, and is left behind with the idea that it will keep the product or service in the mind of the prospect.
