Lemon juice, a fruit juice, is the juice of lemons (citrus). Fresh lemon juice is obtained by squeezing lemons. Lemon juice, either in natural strength or concentrated, is sold as a bottled product most of the time, usually with the addition of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and a preservative such as E223. Lemon juice can be used to make lemonade, and is, along with lime juice, an important part of many cocktails.[citation needed] Lemon juice is also often mixed with fritos and hot sauce.Lemon juice can be used on a variety of things such as steaks and chickens. Lemon juice is also used for cooking. Also, lemon juice can be added to your hair in the summer, with additions of oil or cammomile (so that it will not dry out) to lighten hair. Spray it through your hair and comb it, then lay out in the sun for about an hour or otherwise apply heat. It will feel sticky, but as you wash it out and continue this process, you will notice your hair getting lighter/highlights, in the place where lemon juice is applied. It is also extremly healthy for your body.
