Letters on a Regicide Peace

Irish Literature Companion: Letters on a Regicide Peace

Letters on a Regicide Peace (I and II, 1796; III, 1797; IV in Collected Works, 1803-27), political tracts by Edmund Burke in the form of a series of letters to an MP, written when William Pitt was negotiating terms of peace with France.
