Biography
This graphic artist, not to be confused with the photographer of the same name, has been tastefully involved with the reissue market since the late '90s. His mode of folding together vintage photography of the subjects involved with classy layout design is as warm and inviting as one of those cardboard gospel or mariachi placards that get stapled to utility poles -- and that is intended as a compliment. Steven Lewis has been particularly busy with releases of material by Jack Teagarden, scoring as many credits with the great classic jazz trombonist as some of Teagarden's sidemen. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, Rovi
