Liam O'Connor

 

(1961– )

British architect. His work is strongly influenced by C19 Neo-Classicism. Among his projects may be cited two residential and commercial buildings, Rue de Laeken, Brussels, Belgium (1989–92), two houses in Belgravia, London (1996–2000 and 1999–2005), Victoria Cross and George Cross Memorial, Ministry of Defence Building, Whitehall, London (2002–4), the Memorial Gates and Pavilion, Hyde Park Corner, London (1999–2002), a terrace of houses in Bath, Som. (2002–4), seven houses in Heulebrug, Knokke Heist, Belgium (from 2004), and the splendid Memorial near Lichfield, Staffs. (2004–7), to British Servicemen and women killed on duty since 1945.
