Lifetime Real Women is a digital cable channel that is the sister network to Lifetime. It was launched in August 2001 and is available in over 10 million homes via digital cable. The network has a mixture of comedies, dramas, how-to, game shows, movies and real life stories that had once aired on Lifetime.

It features well-known shows such as Once and Again, Providence, Strong Medicine, and The Division.

Original programs include: Operation: Style, Any Day Now, Intimate Portrait, Final Justice, Next Door With Katie Brown, Head 2 Toe, How Clean Is Your House?, Intimate Portrait, Merge, What Should You Do?, Who Knows You Best and Gay, Straight or Taken. Programming also includes documentaries such as Intimate Portrait and movies which depict true stories.

Although offered originally on DirecTV, the company dropped it in July 2007. It is not available via satellite.

On August 27, 2009, A&E Television Networks acquired Lifetime Entertainment Services.[1][2]
