Plot

The incredibly happy marriage of artist Cyril Edwards (George Webb) and his wife, Lucille (Helene Rosson), is jeopardized by the arrival on the scene of sinister Indian prince Abdul Zarak (Franklin Ritchie). Coveting Lucille for himself, the Prince orders his minion Zonia (Eugenie Forde) to woo Cyril away from his wife. For this purpose, Zonia deploys a powerful love potion, which transforms Cyril into her slave. But the marriage is saved when Zonia, who harbors a strong desire for the Prince herself, stabs him when he casts her aside in favor of Lucille. This exercise in East Indian exotica was, curiously enough, produced by the American Film Company. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
