Review

Linda Ronstadt's self-titled third album captured the singer moving away from the rootsier charms of her first two albums, toward a more polished take on country-rock. Supported by the Eagles throughout the record, Ronstadt turns in a strong performance, aided by a fine selection of material, including "Rock Me on the Water," "Crazy Arms," "I Still Miss Someone," and "I Fall to Pieces." ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

Linda Ronstadt is the third solo album by Linda Ronstadt, released in 1971 on the Capitol Records label.[1] The original Eagles lineup accompanied her on all the songs on the album, many of which were recorded live at The Troubadour nightclub in West Hollywood, California. Although the album peaked at #163 on Billboard's album chart, it is considered to be a front-runner in the country rock music genre.
