Lindford is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) northeast of Bordon, on the B3004 road.
The nearest railway station is Liphook, 3.8 miles (6.1 km) southeast of the village.
With a population of around 2000, Lindford has a village shop, post office, private dental practice, hair dresser, as well as a Methodist church, a village hall, a fishing tackle shop that also sells fireworks, a pub The Royal Exchange, and a club. Part of Lindford is currently being developed with 250 additional houses, boosting the number in the village from 600 to 850, a move which has been opposed by a group known as SOIL (Stop Over-development In Lindford). The campaign failed to prevent the development proceeding and the new estate is now virtually complete and starting to be occupied. The village is now purported to be the most densely populated in Hampshire with very little open green space left[citation needed].
