Lionel Manuel (born April 13, 1962 in Rancho Cucamonga, California) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 1984 NFL Draft. A 5'11", 180-lb. wide receiver from the University of the Pacific, Manuel played in seven NFL seasons, and spent his entire career with the Giants (1984–1990). His peak performance was during the 1988 season, when he caught 65 passes for 1,029 yards and scored four touchdowns.

Manuel's career came to an abrupt end towards the end of the 1990 season. After a 10–0 start, the Giants lost two consecutive games. Head Coach Bill Parcells quickly decided to cut Manuel from the team after several poor performances. The Giants finished the 1990 season 13–3, and went on to win Super Bowl XXV against the Buffalo Bills 20–19.
