Lisa Allred Bloom (born September 20, 1961) is an American lawyer and the former host of the truTV series Lisa Bloom: Open Court, which is now hosted by Ashleigh Banfield.
She received a bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Yale Law School. She unsuccessfully sued the Boy Scouts of America for sex discrimination on behalf of Katrina Yeaw, a girl who wanted to join the organization[1]. She has also filed suit against the Catholic Church in a child sexual abuse case, and the Los Angeles Police Department on several occasions.[2]
Licensed to practice law in New York and California, Bloom is the daughter of Gloria Allred.
