Lisa Cant (born December 28, 1985) is a Canadian model.
Biography
Cant was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Redwood Meadows, Alberta. She was discovered at age 14 at an Ikea store in Calgary by another model.
She has three sisters, Alanna, Rita and Marina. Alanna is four years older than her. Rita is one year older than her and graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and is now a journalist at Concordia's The Link newspaper. Marina is two years younger than Lisa and is currently pursuing her interest of acting in Vancouver, Canada.[citation needed].
Career
Cant is represented internationally by Images Models in Calgary, Folio Models in Montreal, Photogenics Model Management in Los Angeles, Trump Model Management in New York City and Elite London in London She was in the German Vogue. She had campaigns with Juicy Couture, van Cleef & Arpels and the designer Carolina Herrera.
A former booker, Brandon Hall of Toronto's Sutherland Models said "[People always say] how nice she is. And in an industry that's so backstabbing and full of gossip, if they have nothing but nice things to say about this girl – that says a lot... She's just a great girl with a sweet personality and who is easy to talk to... Her personality and her looks go hand-in-hand and have really helped her to be successful"[citation needed].
