ICONS.a portrait of England

• ICONS Online is a not-for-profit organisation whose first project is ICONS.a portrait of England [1]. The project received more than a thousand nominations. Among the most popular items are the Yorkshire Pudding [2], the Christmas Pantomime, the Royal Mail red pillar box [3] [4] , Rupert Bear [5], afternoon tea, the Houses of Parliament, the Household Cavalry, the English seaside town [6], the National Trust [7] , Ordnance Survey maps, the village green [8] , High tea [9], Full English breakfast, Remembrance Day poppies, 10 Downing Street, Beefeaters.
