This is a list of islands of Spain.
- Balearic Islands:
- Canary Islands:
- Gran Canaria;
- Tenerife;
- La Palma;
- Lanzarote;
- Fuerteventura;
- La Gomera;
- El Hierro;
- And the two small islands of Alegranza and Graciosa, plus the tiny islet of Lobos;
- Islands in the Strait of Gibraltar:
- Island of Alborán, which belongs to the province or Almería;
- The small archipelago of the Chafarinas islands, one of the so called Plazas Menores de Soberanía, close to the Morocco coast line;
- Peñón de Alhucemas, also a Plaza Menor de Soberanía;
- Spain also claims the sovereignty over the islet of Perejil;
- And some coastal islands, belonging to provinces of mainland Spain such as:
- Islas Cíes in the province of Pontevedra in Galicia;
- Isla de Tarifa, the southernmost point of Western Europe;
- Tabarca off the coast of Alicante, Spain's smallest inhabited island;
- Columbretes Islands;
- Illes Medes off the Costa Brava;
- Guadalquivir river:
- Isla de la Cartuja;
- Bidasoa river:
- Pheasant Island (Isla de los Faisanes), shared with France.
