The first, is a list of Latin American and Caribbean economies sorted by their GDP at market or government official exchange rates (nominal GDP). The data here is an estimation for the year 2008 produced by the International Monetary Fund in October 2009. The second list represents the GDP per capita. These figures do not include Cuba.
This lists include countries which some consider not to be part of Latin America; the precise listing of Latin American countries is disputed. The group of countries shown is described as the "Western Hemisphere" by the IMF.
