This is a list of all the Presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran since the establishment of that office in 1979.President of Iran is highest popularly elected. The current President of Iran is Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad since the Iranian presidential election, 2005. He is President for the second time after the Iranian presidential election, 2009 but other candidates and the people presume Mir-Hossein Mousavi is President.
He is the symbol of the velvet election; it cooperates with the coup of the militia and the Revolutionary Guards (Sepah) select him to be President.
