Little Tunny is a small Tuna found in warm temperate and tropical waters of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Occuring in large schools, and weighing up to 26 pounds,it is one of the smallest members of the tuna family. Commonly called "false albacore" or "albie". Originally thought of as a trash fish because its food value is so poor it is considered inedible, it is now sought after as a sport fish due to its reel stripping high speed runs when hooked.
