Llanwrda is a parish and a village on the River Towy, in the county of Carmarthenshire, west Wales, 3½ miles (approx. 5.5 kilometers, W. by S.) from Llandovery, in the U.K. The village is served by Llanwrda railway station.

Transportation and feature
This parish is intersected by the A40 road between Llandeilo and Llandovery and stands at the junction of the A482 road to Lampeter and Aberaeron. Nearby are the Dolaucothi Gold Mines.
Rebels Resting Place
It has been rumored that the church is the last resting place for Owain Glyndŵr, the last native Welshman to hold the title Prince of Wales
