Lloyd Segan is a principal in Piller/Segan/Shepherd, an independent content production company with one of the most distinguished and successful track records in the business.  Along with partners Shawn Piller and Scott Shepherd, Segan and the company have produced some 500 hours of television. Segan is an accomplished film producer as well, bringing years of producing expertise, business acumen, and leadership in both the feature film and TV worlds.

Segan is an executive producer of ABC Family's hit series Greek, and he recently served as executive producer on USA Network’s The Dead Zone and ABC Family's Wildfire. He also executive-produced The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the cult hit original, released on October 30th, 2009. He is currently involved in several upcoming feature productions and television series.

In 2007, Greek debuted its first season on the ABC Family channel, executive-produced by Segan and Shawn Piller and created by Patrick Sean Smith. It was Segan's second series on the ABC Family channel. In 2005, Wildfire debuted on ABC Family, executive-produced by Michael Piller, Shawn Piller, and Segan. The series, the network's first-ever original scripted series, followed two rival horse-racing families and ran for four seasons, maintaining a strong following ever since.

Segan made his first foray into television in 2001 with The Dead Zone, based on Stephen King's novel The Dead Zone. Executive-produced by Segan and Michael Piller, and co-created by Michael Piller and Shawn Piller, the series debuted June 16, 2002, on the USA Network -- debuting as the highest-rated premiere in cable history. The series ran for six seasons, and continues to air in syndication today.

Segan’s other feature film credits include 2007's Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas, a college-set comedy starring Patrick Fugit and Olivia Wilde; New Line Cinema's Bones, a hip-hop horror film starring Snoop Doggy Dogg; New Line's The Bachelor, starring Chris O’Donnell and Renee Zellweger; the controversial cult hit Boondock Saints, starring Willem Dafoe, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival; Showtime’s Emmy-nominated film, Hendrix, based on the life of Jimi Hendrix; the Eric Schaeffer comedy Wirey Spindell; Universal Studios' thriller Judgment Night, starring Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr., Denis Leary and Stephen Dorff; MGM’s action-drama Blown Away with Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones; and the HBO movie Crossworlds.

Segan is married to film producer and executive Allison Lyon Segan. He is a graduate of Allegheny College, where he became a member of Phi Delta Theta. He then earned a Masters of Professional Studies at New York University, and a law degree from Whittier College School of Law.
