Banking Dictionary: Loan Register
 

Journal in which time loans are recorded in chronological order, and consecutively numbered. Also called a maturity tickler. Shortly before the maturity date, the borrower is notified by mail, or by a personal visit from a loan officer, that the loan is about to come due. See also Note Notice.
