British ballet company founded by Walter Gore in 1961. With Hinton as its ballerina and a repertory consisting of Gore's ballets, including The Night and the Silence, Light Fantastic, Peepshow, and Rencontre, and selected classics, such as Giselle and Act II of Swan Lake, it gave its first performance on 28 July 1961 at Hindlesham Hall near Ipswich. It appeared at the Edinburgh Festival that year and toured extensively in Britain and abroad but ceased operations in 1963.
