Facts

Music videos

  • In God's Hands: Loose Mini DVD premiered the music video for In God's Hands which begins with Furtado lifting her hands up into the air, and then she turns around with a white sheet. Furtado sings the second part of the verse to the camera when lying on the sand, and she also sings under a silk sheet on the beach. The video shows Furtado in those settings again, and she sings the chorus and verse to the camera.
  • Maneater: Maneater was directed by Anthony Mandler.[4] It begins with Furtado searching for her runaway Great Dane, at a dark night. She follows the dog to the basement of a dark, dilapidated building, where she encounters a silent crowd of people in the middle. Furtado positions herself in the middle of the crowd then she begins to dance with "a sense of abandon", according to Furtado.[4]
  • Promiscuous: Promiscuous music video was directed by Little X and features cameo appearances by Keri Hilson and Justin Timberlake. Furtado and Timbaland performances are intercut with several scenes of a dancing crowd, and the lighting changes between blue, green, red, and yellow colours. The music video featured as the third track in the Loose Mini DVD.
  • All Good Things (Come to an End): All Good Things music video features a love story between Furtado and a male model, with Furtado seen walking along a beach and into a forest, where she finds a dinner table hanging upside-down from a tree. The video includes flashbacks to when Furtado and the model were eating at the table, and it ends with them holding each other. Furtado said about the music video "It reminds me of old Sarah McLachlan videos, it has that element of art to it. It's kind of like cinema."[5]
  • Say It Right: The music video for "Say It Right" was directed by British duo Rankin & Chris and filmed at various locations in late October 2006.[6] The music video starts with a helicopter landing on top of a black helipad with Furtado's name on it, and Furtado getting out. She is shown on the roof of the building throughout the video. The video features mostly face shots of her and Timbaland intercut with shots of dancers. The video ends with Furtado climbing back into the helicopter, which flies off.
  • Try: Basically, the music video for the song "Try" was released from the previous album Folklore but it featured on the Loose DVD. The music video was directed by Sophie Muller and it begins with Furtado and a male model holding and Furtado and him standing in front of the house. It then shows Furtado and him sitting on a chair and Furtado then begins to sing the first verse and flashes of her outside the house.
