Lorenzo H. Zambrano Treviño (b. 1945 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico) is the Chairman and CEO of CEMEX, one of the largest global building-materials companies in the world. CEMEX's stock is traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange (CEMEX CPO) and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (CX).

Zambrano was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. He received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) in 1966 and an MBA from Stanford Business School in 1968.

In 1968 he joined CEMEX, a cement company founded by his grandfather in 1906. He was named CEO in 1985 and has also served as Chairman of the Board since 1995. He is a member of the IBM Board of Directors, the Citigroup International Advisory Board, and the boards of some leading Mexican companies, including Femsa and Grupo Financiero Banamex. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the leading private University in Latin America; and serves on the Board of the Monterrey Museum of Contemporary Art.

In recognition of his business and philanthropic record, Mr. Zambrano has earned a number of prestigious honors such as the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship, the Americas Society's Gold Medal for Distinguished Service, the Excellence in Leadership Award from the Stanford Graduate Business School, and the Ernest C. Arbuckle Award for Managerial Excellence from the Stanford Business School's Alumni Association.He is now a chairman for the trilateral commission.
