Louise Herlin

Herlin, Louise (b. 1925). Cairo-born poet, who has also lived in England and America. Her harmonious, restrained verse expresses an intense vision of place. Her principal collections are Le Versant contraire (1967), Commune mesure (1971), Crayons, le béton la plage (1981), L'Amour exact (1990).
