PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Length 15.0–17.0 in (38–43 cm), weight about 12.3 oz (350 g).
DISTRIBUTION
Lowland areas in all New Guinea.
HABITAT
Lowland and foothill rainforest, which is an exception for New Guinean species of this family.
BEHAVIOR
Probably solitary. Noctural, arboreal.

Herbivore, folivore.

Not threatened, but rare all over its range.
