LTX-Credence wasn't born on the bayou -- the company was created from the 2008 merger of LTX Corp. and rival Credence Systems. LTX-Credence makes automated test equipment (ATE) used by chip makers to test semiconductors as they're being manufactured and as part of the final package test.
