This is a Chinese name; the family name is Lu.

Lu Zhi (died 192), style name Zigan (子幹), was a politician, militarist and scholar of the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. Lu Zhi became famous for being the teacher of Liu Bei and Gongsun Zan. While as an attendant, Lu Zhi produced successful results in leading an army against the Yellow Turban rebels. Lu Zhi then later became a Minister of Letters and warned against Dong Zhuo's sudden displacement of Emperor Shao. Lu Zhi also had a son, Lu Yu, who later became Consultant Foreman Clerk in the Department of Legal Administration in the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.
