Biography

The composer and conductor Luigi Arditi was quite successful in London and traveled extensively to such places as Milan, Havana, Vienna, St. Petersburg, Dublin, Constantinople, New York and London. The greatest impact musically for Arditi was in opera while geographically his greatest influence was felt in London. His opera compositions included "I briganti," "Il corsaro," "La spia," and a renowned vocal dance "Il bacio."
